Right, so while US servers are enjoying GU39 and Shard of Fear, us EU servers are stilling on GU38 due to some bullshit about translation into french and german or something, now this fucking baffled me because both Runnyeye and Splitpaw are English speaking servers to start, so should've been implemented on them at the very least.

But then...


Now, while I sympathise with the fact there are fires in and around the San Diego area, this is utterly bullshit. 10 days after the US servers get GU39, the EU servers will... Compensation in order? I think so.

Next time US servers get an update 10 days after EU servers we'll see all those calm, non-whiney US players posting here, trust me.

The delay because of the wildfires, well yeah... can't do much about it.
(Well, I suppose they could actually patch us since Splitpaw is in Amsterdam. Not like it should be very complicated since they already know it worked on US servers. Still not complaining, though.)

But to delay the update on english-language EU servers just because of the stupid translation for 2 german servers was pretty damn retarded in the first place.

I'm not even pissed at SOE but if not being able to update the english-language EU servers who get the same update as US servers is "how they operate" than they're retards.
Don't get me started on how damn lame SOE's marketing in Europe is compared to Blizzard's. And no, i won't leave for some other damn game. But wait... isn't that what you did? Leave eq2?

Give me a break and at least allow me to vent a bit if something silly like this happens. I pay for the game just as US players do. At least trying to treat all customers the same wouldn't really hurt their business imo. If not doing that is "the way they operate" they're fucking retards again who fail to address a market that's bigger than the US market.
