Default New Achievement Points

So they are raising the number of achievement points to 140. But are they raising the spending limit?
Right now we are limited to 1.5 times our level of achievement points we can use. At level 80 that means we can use 120 points.
Have the said how this will be addressed? Hopefully they haven't forgotten that they put the limit in with GU36, I know a few of my guildies had forgotten.

yep, ding 71 and you dont have to worry about the 1.5x formula anymore

in fact, i believe it was discussed somewhere that you wont even be able to gain more than 100 pts until you ding 71 (meaning new characters moving through the T6/7 game after RoK won't be able to outstrip those who previously leveled under the old "100 pts max" system)

You also won't be able to spend 70 in a tree before you reach 71. So you actually have to do some work before you respec and place all your points in the class tree :P

If true that sucks ass, and I will tell you why.

I don’t know about you but as soon as I get my dirty little hands on RoK I plan to zone in there and check the place out as much as I can. But, if what you say is true, then I would be shooting myself in the foot because all those places I explore will be getting used up without giving me any AA exp. Not to mention any quests I do wont give me AA, and collections I turn in wont give me AA (which is probably the reason they would do such a thing). Basically if I want AA I have to grind to 71 before doing quests, going to kunark, or anything or else I will be wasting AA exp.

I might be wrong but im sure spend and gain AA are diffrent things.

Maybe improve the EoF trees so that immediate respec is not the first player choice?

The fact that you said what you said, proves that you are aware it is what the over whelming majority of players plan to do.

Maybe I don't understand things completely, but I would think that, if players didn't want more abilities and be willing to move things around to get them, it would mean the devs failed...
