As a brigand there is no burn at the last part of a fight to kill a mob. You're in full burn 100% of the time.

I have 2 sequences I run. One is for a single target mob and one is for multiple target. That's it. Then I just hit that sequence over, and over, and over again. If I get aggro I hideaway inbetween. There is no timing dispatch. The raid times their attacks based on when I cast dispatch and I fire it off as soon as it refreshes.

Warden on the other hand, that's fun. Quick heals or cures to save the raid. Spamming heals and being ready after the shots for 9k on the tank. It's a lot easier to stand out as a healer then it is as a brigand. As a brigand you're either not buffed right so you can't play to your potential or you suck, or you're cycling the same CAs over and over.

You see, your failure in understanding how others play seems a bit lacking great you mash buttons woohoo. I also wasn't saying that brignad don't mash buttons all the time.. Most the time yes but their are times where you have to wait and be smart. Going Sta line in AAxp can also relgate you to do much more then just Dps/debuff.

In the % points I didnt delve deep into explaining I figured it was just understood. Most of this game is mashing buttons for all classes and yes saving a fight in a raid is more noticable in a raid.... Mainly to the Tank. I could care less what the healers do on a raid. If the Tank lives and we win great if not the healers let em die we all rez run back and rezerg. Most of this game requires little to no thinking because of the amount of utility we all have. Unlike EQ1 where you choose the 8 spells or a few ablity and or armor your gonna go into the fight with and then have to think about a good strat to win. Besides it's all subjective if you have a well equipted tank that know's what he or she is doing playing a healer can be lame and boring to me. However, some people that love to sit around at 80% power most the time doing nothing is fun then cool.

I can't say much about the druid healers I don't get masive dps/debuff/nukes as a Mystic our DPS is for ASS and our Debuffs last 30 secodnds in most cases. Which makes it worthless or waste of power in 90% of all the fights. Nukes that are apart of our DPS is the worst it seems of any priest so for me being a healer is a yawn in most cases. However, you enjoy it more then Scouts or button mashing for damage and you like to heal great we need more like you.

As Snark said, it has to do with an intelligent player. Although it's too hard to ever tell who is the 'best' at there class, there are usually several that stand out.

A player who can take advantage of certain situations and bend them to improve themselves is certainly going to stand out from others. I'm not speaking exploits, but say from a DPS standpoint being smart enough to take advantage of encounter types/AE types and using your abilities in a manner which allows you to dodge AE and maximize melee/ranged auto attacks will put you out in front of the rest. As any good Melee based DPS will tell you, this is true. Another point would be a player knowing exactly how each class will affect their DPS as a whole, and how buffs and buff timers will affect their routine. Any DPS class that couldn't tell you exactly what which classes do for them, and what would be better than which class, isn't capable of reaching their classes maximum ability. I only speak of DPS because that's what I know best, but each class has their own niches that they can take advantage of to improve their output and the people at the top of their classes know exactly what those are.
