Default Tracking RoK Avatars for Server Progression Lists

We're starting to discuss our next tier's progression list on Unrest and I thought it would be helpful to get as many viewpoints/options as possible. How will you guys want to see Avatars tracked for RoK since SOE has announced they will be raising the level of the existing Avatars and consider them end game contested?

The poll ideas are those that have been presented on our progression thread so far. I'm sure there may be more, so thanks for your feedback/input in advance.

To clarify, the second option is to allow all new server firsts for the old avatars right?

Yes, for the avatars that exist today.

Though, from the perspective of the folks that vote for that option, I'm assuming they will consider them "new" by rights of upgrade, if that makes sense.

Once RoK comes out, all the Avatars are brand new as far as anybody should be concerned. It's like saying you got WW1st on Malkonis D'Morte in Gates of Ahket Ahken, so that should be the kill that counts rather than having Malkonis D'Morte in Freethinker's Hideout being the one that matters.

I still say tracking progression on mobs with spawns set up like avatars is mildly retarded, period.

Tracking progression for avatars on a server level is not retarded at all which is what this thread is about. On a WW level, you a may have a point.

I would consider the avatars in ROK as a new contested mob. Might be the same name, but I thought there was a post stating that although they are being raised in level, their abilities and the encounter as a whole has been redesigned. It would be ignorant and lazy to only increase their level and do nothing else to them. If that is the case, they will be on farm status the minute you have a raid force all at level 80.

New Tier, new levels, new mob.

What happens in EoF, stays in EoF.

Avatars are will once again be up for grabs for Server Firsts.

even on WW basis it could be interesting. If guild A kills 5 different avatars before guild B kills their first it has a meaning.

If guilds start killing avatars around the same time the spawn could be ascribed to luck.

(of course, if the first Avatars can only be killed after the first nerfs then its all meaningless and SOE was the cock blocker again)
