im gonna chalk most of the emo'ness on this thred to *preexpansionphobia* happens before turn of centurys and stuff too. and the fact that SoE changed the spell tables, thus making lvl 67-70 masters useless adds to the *nothingness* most are feeling(my self as well). in a couple of weeks it will be happy days again.. unless you like being emo.

I'm surprised SoE kept us interested this long with basically content and barely-an-upgrade-with-weak-procs-or-set-bonuses lewts in the last expansion. They've been nice enough to toss us a couple of instances to keep us logging in to boot but those get played out in a week or two tops.

I actually liked the EoF launch being content driven and am a convert into this philosophy now. I blazed KoS and ignored content... hell I was through with that expansion a couple of weeks after it went in the zone art was nice but the mob models and quest lines were second rate and felt rushed. (wings on every mob is irritating)

I had fun goofing around in EoF for quite a few months and found the content to be worth reading and decided to not grind right through it since I was only after lewts.

I think SoE discovered that combat leveling isn't a time sink that lasts more than a few weeks to the manic players in the endgame. Baring over delivery on level 80+ content and set items that inspire obsessive camping... with guild housing coming soon... I expect guild leveling to be where SoE hopes we waste our time until the next expansion.

Get ready for 10 months of grinding writs. >.<

I don't know about passion for my class or toon (though she is hawt) but I do really enjoy playing a Ranger and a DPSer.
IRL I do like to shoot shit, hang out (and stuff) in the woods, be all sneaky and sly and I am a certified tomboy, so yeah.
I've also lived through some major ups and downs irl, so there's that too.

I guess that means I can at least relate to my archetype. =)

Yeah, I even darkened her hair and lightened her skin to channel a lil more of myself through her. LOL
Too bad I can't add 15 lbs to her as well. =)

I care about my class, it is the class I have put the most work into and spend countless hours on. I would hate to see him get shafted, it is not a perfect class but it is what I love.
