Same thing happened when i installed eq2 freshly on my new computer, I installed all the disks I had and let the patcher run. It would go for a few hours and the bar would get all the way to the end like the patch was done and say theres 12 hours left and install about 3 files and get to a VPK and say download complete. I eventually just deleted the whole eq2 folder, went to the soe website and downloaded the patcher and just downloaded the whole game.
