Expansions do NOT change games, they add new things, new upgraded spells, new items, new zones, more aa, more areas to play, new race, etc. But they don't change game mechanics, don't expect a new engine very very few games ever do stuff like that it is very expensive and smarter just to release a new game if your going to do that.

I played beta in Tabula Rasa for about a month. Other than the futuristic setting there isn't a lot to the game. Pvp might add to it but really the content even on the low end was lacking. There's almost no incentive to group with folks. Leveling is mainly just a complete grind there's a few missions that are interesting but nothing special. I kept looking for something that would surprise me but this game doesn't have it. I want a space MMO so bad but this one isn't it.

You should try Hellgate London... it's a nice diversion. I have enjoyed it thoroughly.

No reason to stay in this game anymore. ROK blows pretty hard. Does it look nice? It looks fantastic. Does it play nice? The play is shit, the music sucks, ugh.


I picked up Vanguard. I used to seriously dislike it but now they fixed a load of stuff and I love it.

I was GOING to give EQ2 a chance with ROK possibly reviving it for me, but guess what?

Things to maybe answer your question...
- What dont you like /change or avoid it
- What do you like / Do more or look for more of that!
- Not in a guild and bored?/ Join a guild
- Dont like your guild?/ Find a better one
- Not liking the coercer?/ BETRAY or roll something else.

If none of these are an option in your eyes or you try them and it doesnt help then try a new game.
