Raid PvPing over a contested in theory should be sweet. The reality is.... its lame. I've been on both sides of it. Using every trick in the book to get to the raid solo with some sort of immunity versus using ever means necessary to try to prevent that camper/parachuter/grey toon from interacting with my raid.

If it were an issue of 2 guilds meeting on a field of battle near a contested with the winner getting the mob, then it'd be sweet. Unfortunately, the reality is that people just use any means necessary to get to a raid with immunity, do whatever they need to do to put a raid in combat, then escape. Thats not what PvP should have ever been about and thats why EQ2 PvP raiding was ruined for me.

In my months and months of PvP raiding, it was the exception, rather than the rule, that you could kill something with any significant, organized PvP on you.

yeh, i know a fight between the Onyx and Kraken lasted 6 hours in Loping planes over PHH, but i guarantee that it wouldnt have happened if exiles could get fame off of each other.

Those were 4 of the big 5 ww 1sts this expansion in my opinion. The only other one I really think worth mentioning is Avatar of Mischief - Grats NPU on that.

After that I think Disso got the most Avatar WW 1sted. I know CL got Brell first (forget if anything else) We got Avatar of War and PHH/ Pandemonium got Fear? I don't know the rest specifics. However I don't think anyone can seriously argue that SD did not dominate this expansion or atleast the first half. After that there really was only one valid kill which was Mischief. Everyone got that fucker to pop atleast twice so far.

I might be mistaken, but didn't Fires of Heaven get the WW 1st on Mayong in IS?

1st- SD
2nd- Dissolution
3rd- Paradigm

There was only 30 minutes to an hour between 3rd and fourth if memory serves me right.
