200 isn't hard to get, really, if you're over level 40. There's enough quests that require harvesting I'm frankly suprised that people don't keep it up.
My 68 Wizard with a /played of 5 days, has 300 in gathering.

Flames now has 0 support from anyone. No TTH, no Zam (although I'm not sure how much there was), no SOE, no one.
The only thing about harvesting, that I can't stand, is past T5, certain nodes are harder to come by. Finding roots in Sinking Sands is damn near impossible.
