In the spirit of not filling the forum with more threads than necessary....

I pre-ordered RoK but, other than paying 40 dollars for the last expansion + base pack, I'd like to purchase vanilla EQ2 to play until RoK ships. Is this even possible or am I pretty much stuck waiting until the 22nd or I magically run into an extra forty dollars lying around?

If you don't already own EQ2; I personally think you should wait...unless you don't mind spending however much vanilla EQ2 costs plus ROK. At least with ROK you get everything. I'm waiting until ROK launches to come back and I already have an account b/c I want to play a sarnak :D

But what do you mean 22nd? Gamestop has a date of 13th. What is the official release date someone?!?

I was in the same boat. Came back after around 2 years of and didnt want to play my bruiser because I couldnt remember much. Ive leveled a zerker to 47 and a dirge to 42 both w/over 50 aa in no time. Leveling seems to be allot faster now. And its not to hard to find some pugs once you get into your 20s if your just looking mostly to grind certain dungeons. I prefer working heritages and such to pass the time so its a little harder to find people.
