purpose Best PvP equation Competitions ?

(( duel no gear ( P vs. P ) race\class =, lvl = lvl or -(10?)) . 5) outcome = A , then 1 piece gear challenge phase ( P vs. P). 3) = B, if the out come of (A = B) then we have a player/class player, and moves on in the competition.

my reasoning, good players can do more with less and can maximize what they have to work with; the playing field is somewhat lvl'ed, except for possibly skill, spells upgrade, AA's and choice of equipment and AA's

thoughts ?

OK, in my time playing EQ2, I've yet to see a good player sucking at playing another class. A good player is one that understand the mechanics of the game and know the purpose of each and every class. A smart person will still be smart playing any class. A dumb person would still be dumb, even if he plays 10 different characters.

for the less inform and those of u who can't/haven't figure it out yet, in a tournament using this equation, set up duels where the lvl range can be + or -10, no gear, class and race the same, and the first phase is best of 5, then 2nd phase using just 1 equip item then best of 3, if u can win both phases, u move up in the competition

So if I'm understanding right, you're intending to use your little imaginary mathematical equation, for us to plug in imaginary characters with arbitrary skill ability's and go "I R TEH WINNAR"... Sounds fun. /wrists
