Much of the problem is that if LFG lets anyone break NDA, he will get legal papers so far up his rear that he will cough paragraphs. That is what LFG is trying to avoid. And in my oppinion, if it ever counts, is that NDA should be lifted once open beta comes up. so people actually can discuss wtf is going on, and give as much feedback as possible. That it seems is what SoE is trying to avoid, so they can rape us with bugs, and fatal errors.
For SoE Public opinions means shit.

The real issue is, not lifting the NDA until the launch is all work with no upside for fan sites. If the NDA was lifted, we would get increased traffic and content. With the NDA in effect, all discussion and content about the expansion is restricted to the Official Forums Beta Site. All I get here is problems from people who want to talk about the expansion but can't.
This has gotta be the first time in the history of video games that a NDA hasn't been lifted until the official release. Does this mean people won't be able to talk about beta when the game is released? Seriously, this is government thinking.
