SOE doesn't care about their non-profit boards. They watch us and listen but when it come to the dirty truth, all that matters is there own offical boards and comentment on theirs.... sure they will read there and theirs, but what is most important to them is the "official" commentment. As boring as soe boards are, i'd love to see a dev prove me wrong and say they listen to the true players of the game.

Leaving the NDA up this late can only really mean one of two things:

a) It’s not nearly ready for release, or

b) It’s a big steaming pile of horse shit

It’s like publishers of really bad games withholding review copies from magazines in the hope that a few poor idiots buy their game before it becomes common knowledge how much of a turd it is.

Oh well, they will get my cash initially but if it becomes obvious that these are the reasons for the NDA then that will be the all they get.

You know, this guy's post makes sense. I agree that it is burdensome on player communities to deal with it, but if you really want centralized firsthand feedback you have to isolate the beta players as much as possible. I for one will simply hope that the NDA being held so long is an effort to keep polishing to the very end.

Someone should start a petition saying that they will not buy RoK unless the NDA is lifted BEFORE the game goes live.

As a show of faith that the game isn't all fucked up and that they are trying to get as many sales in as possible until all hell breaks loose.

Seriously, this REEKS badly. Maybe this shit with the racials is gonna be really controversial, I doubt that it is buggy or anything like that, but it is probably more along the lines of alot of people are gonna get all hurt and bitchy about how SOE didn't give their class/race a blowjob.

Who know's, maybe they fucked up, maybe they are paranoid.

All I know is if this expansion is a big sack of shit and insults the name of Kunark, I'm goona be really a sad man.

Yea, there will be a shit load of people pissed about the changes to the races. Considering how much those traits will wind up effecting most classes in a huge way. I will kind of feel sorry for Ratonga Guardians or Ogre Wizards or any shit like that...
