This site has built a rapport with the SOE folks. The site and its members have benefitted from this relationship and it would appear the site owner wishes to continue the relationship. Discussing beta here before the NDA is lifted would mean EQ2Flames is facilitating the breaking of the NDA. There is no desire on the part of the site owner to find loopholes and invoke legalese to allow beta discussion before the NDA is lifted, so you are ass out if you are here looking for beta spoilers or discussion at this point.

Wanna discuss beta? Go to the beta forums or make your own boards and talk away. Pretty simple.

What Im trying to say is that LFG has got better shit than to sit here reading every post between now and when they do release the NDA. Kick back, have a beer and if something is spotted, address it then. Fuck the stress of having SoEs lawyers sending a take down notice. They wouldnt anyway, it would be a PM to a moderator.

Let SoE chase posts if they really want to be that way. If SoE wanna fuck with LFG in a manner than seems to be stressing him out this bad, its either 1 or three things.

1. shut the forum down until NDA is lifted.
2. moderate all posts
3. check your email once in a while and delete posts highlighted by people

... and that doesnt mean hovering over the check mail button every 2 minutes fearing that some asshole lawyer is going to take everything you and your family has because you didnt remove a post because of three days reading posts has forced you to sleep with a keyboard under your face.

As you know, posting on the official forums is a waste of time. You cant say "this sucks" without some nazi mod getting on your case. Less thrue with this expansion than the last but....

If you want spoilers, use google, dont post here, fucked if we want some poor guy having a stroke because he doesnt want SoE to get fucked off with him.

Anyone at SoE think thinks LFG is in any way responsible for policing these forums 24/7 is a fucking asshole and should just fuck off but to law school. Dont post beta shit here, do it on facebook or some website outside of the USA that doesnt fall under facist DCMA laws, just not here.

The SOE / EQ2Flames 'relationship' is still relatively fragile. LFG has taken the burden on himself to monitor the content in this specific regard. If he truly got frazzled enough, he'd waste no time in whipping out the 4pt bold yellow letters and letting us know it. Don't mistake his words as desperation; instead consider it emphasis on empowering the readers and posters to follow his wishes voluntarily.

With over a thousand people reading and posting on the forums daily, some retard is gonna fuck up and correction is usually followed by reiteration to the masses.

He is the "Drama Director" after all...

So.. I haven't visited beta yet this week.. ever since it was SoE's infinite wisdom to make the PvP Beta server... damn retarded. Love to test lv.80 PvP and PvP Gear.. but oh wait, what's that? can't buff to 80 to test the pvp? or buff to 70? can't get your toon copied over to beta pvp? well you're kinda screwed aren't ya.
Maybe they've fixed it, maybe they haven't but I'd like to know how you're suppose to test items that are going Live.. that you can't even get in the beta to test them.
I'd have to say some of the shit I've seen for items scream of nerf-bat-ownage soon as they hit Live.
Last I checked, RoK wasn't near ready for Release. But that isn't surprising either considered they just made that totally awesome new Expansion for LoN!
