I ton of the new arrmor that drops in the game has +to spell damage, + to crit, and all that stuff. So the slight advantage that a race get from the start is going to count for much a month or 2 down the line

You do realize that when they give gear attributes they work off of a point system. So you lose something else to get those benefits on gear... stats, resists, procs... what have you. A racial ability is gear independent. Given that you can't swap gear in combat any more it is a huge advantage/disadvantage depending on which side of the racial equation you fall.

Hrm, LFG, I believe you suffer from not being a darkelf, but am I right in thinking that as far as tanks go, there were no real mind numbing incredibly bad choices?

for tanking I would prefer to be an ogre the passive bonus to aggression and standard mitigation increase are both really nice. I also prefer their crit to multi attack.

At least I didn't make a human monk though.

Thats the Devs take and its wrong,,,first of all that stuff stacks,,and its all the small stuff added up that makes all the difference.
