Meh! power-draining stealth? I've got my own already! Faster gathering will help my tailoring, but really, its not that huge.

Gift of the Faydark - Fletching power reduction (P) - Not a Woodworker, don't care. (0/10)
Faydwer Fashions - 5% Tailoring success increase (P) - Woohoo! (6/10)
Natural Recovery - sta + out of combat power regen buff, 3 min dur, 10 min recast (A) - I would use it... occasionally while PvPing and I've got the drop on someone. (4/10)
Elvish Spirits - 25% Drink duration increase (P) - Cheap drinks! Next round is mine! (6/10)
Light Footed - 25% reduction in snare effects (P) - AWESOME!! (PvP) (10/10)
Shield of Nature - disease mit (P) - Nice but hardly exciting (6/10)
Wisdom of the Faydark - 5 wis (P) - Meh (3/10)
Faydark's Champion - Melee: 2 ranged crit + 5 ranged skill | Caster: heal crit + minstration (P) - Very nice... hope I'll get the melee bonuses instead of the caster bonuses... Troubs are scouts!! (this time!) (7/10 or 0/10)
Forest Fire - AE DD, 8 max targets, 1 min recast (A) - Mmmm another precision proc-er. (7/10)
Vitality of the fier dal - 3% power (P) - Meh... nice but hardly exciting (5/10)

All up I've got some nice, some useless and some indifferent. I hardly think I got shafted... but then I saw Fury of Innoruk. Nerf please.

Wind Walker - +50 movement speed, 36 sec dur, 5 min recast (A)
Glide/Safefall? (guessing)

Windwalker is pretty nice for chasing people down, othewrwise it's more of a meh. Would like to know what the second one is.

Choices:
Transmography - +5 Transmuting (P) - Woodelf is my transmuter. Meh (0/10)
Neriak Precision - +5 Jeweler (P) - Arasai isn't a crafter yet (0/10, possibly more)
Glide - jump further/feather fall (P) Already have this, it's nice when you want to get places, otherwise it's annoying (5/10)
Arasai Flight - +5% movement speed (P) (10/10)
Escaping Dive - AE De-threat (no hate position drop), 5 min recast (A) - Not much good to a guardian, will have some PvP uses though. (5/10)
Magic Protection - magic mit (P) Resists are always good, but meh (3/10)
Arasai Savvy - 5 INT (P) - Guardians require INT because...? (0/10)
Aerial Dodging - Melee: melee crit and defense | Caster: 2 spell crit, 5 defense (P) - Woot!! (9/10 for no numbers!)
Arasai Endurance - in combat power regen (P) - yay... (3/10)
Dark Envy - (A): - I like it because I've got it, but still overpowered. Nerf Please.

Main is a Ratonga Assassin, yes, ok, bonus for me.
Alts are: Ratonga Coercer, Ratonga Guardian, Ratonga Defiler and a Ratonga Dirge.

These changes don't make me want to change my race. Except possibly if Burynai became playable.

My question is why wait until NOW to penalize people who made these combinations? That's what set this game apart from any other, the fact that you had the freedom to make your Gnomish Monk without worrying about being anally raped with penalties

Never ever did they say every race would be equally good at a class as another race, just that every race could be every class. They just made races that already had good traits for a class better at being that class.

As for some of the others who are upset..

I don't see why Everyone is so completely upset about 24 seconds every 5 minutes. In pvp I can see it, but in pve it's not huge. Most of the skills that are boosted have caps or are on a diminishing returns scale anyway. DEs didn't get a new damage related attack while other classes got DD+mit debuff, DD+skill debuf, DD+Dot, AoEs.

Frogloks have some of the most unique racials (jumping out of the water for example) while they might not have gotten all the min/max stuff they were definately not left behind.

Halfling Illusionist might benefit a lot from the Ward ability they get. It might keep you alive long enough for your fellow halfling (swashy) to swap hate positions with you. I wouldn't say you get nothing.

Even the barbarian wizard has something. A 2.5 second stun might be long enough to get another spell off and save the day. Any wizard who didn't pick erudite, dark elf, or gnome should have expected to get the shaft someday.

This is a pretty good deal for me, and I'm very happy with it, especially since my Gnome is a tinkerer and a weaponsmith.
