I think most PVE players dabbled or still have an active toon on PVP. We just don't spend 100% of our playtime there, with tards like you being one of the reasons.

Not me cant say i have ever even tried eq2 pvp. Just not interested. this is mainly due to 4 years of playing daoc b/4 moving to this game. Iam just burned out on pvp.

Personaly I love that races matter. That was one of the fun points of EQ1, where the racial advantages were also a lot more pronounced. I also love that you can chose any race/class combination in EQ2 as that adds a lot of fun.
Sure I feel a bit screwed as a half elf assassin, but I mean dark elves had to get something to compensate for looking like tall smurfs. As I posted in another thread I think half elves should get a mix of abilities from humans and whatever elven race they owe their ancestry to as I think this would be a totaly logical way to go for them.

I'd like for there to be a racial respec option due to this change, but I for one won't be changing to a dark elf (maybe ratonga, but then I want a name change too hehe) just for the racial abilities cause well.... I abosolutely HATE the whole drow concept.

I hope they keep working on making the races different and unique. I have no problem at all with an erudite being a better caster than an ogre or an ogre being a better tank than a gnome, in my opinion that's how it should be. In EQ1 I ran into a lot of players who played an odd race for their class just because it was fun, sure some races were overpowered as tanks (ogre's immunity to frontal stun and troll's regen and so on), but in reality it does not matter to such an extent that you "have" to chose a certain race.

Defensive Coloration - short duration power-draining stealth - shit imo 1/10

Choices:
Dark Medicine - 5 Chemistry (P) - useless for me 0/10
Whipstich - tailoring 10% power reduction (P) - crafting...nuff said 0/10
Proficient Swimmer - water breathing (P) - being a priest this is especially usefull 0/10
Reptilian Grace - 25% falling damage reduction (P) - considering you need to throw your self off sumthing like the overlords tower to take any falling damage atm not great 2/10
Tough scales - 5 Defense (P) - decent 8/10
Greenmist - Disease mit (P) - not bad mits mit after all 6/10
Honed Body - 5 agi (P) - stats are stats but nothing exicting 6/10
Venrils guidance - Melee: 2 melee crit + 5 parry | Caster: 2 spell crit + 5 focus(P) what pisses me off here is that i will no doubt get shafted with the spell shit 1/10 if i do 1/10 if i dont, i already ahve maxed crit.
Venemous Strike - 175-262 dd + 69-104 2 sec dot - dur 10 secs, recast 30 secs (A) - never say no to more damage, specially dots, especially if it crits from our AA's 8-9/10
Legacy of the shissar - 3% health (P) - always good 7/10

overall nothing to write home about, and absolutly 0 from a healing perspective, am i surprised? not really, it might not be fair but i kinda always knew in the back of my mind that a iksar priest wud eventually be a bad thing. the DE one does look over powered but i think itll all sort it self out with all the unrest its caused. tbh thou even if my innate ability gave me -50 to all stats and prevented me from wearing armour id not change from an iksar...but i think ppl should have the choice to change to what they want. its a game we play to enjoy after all and who the fuck cares if ppl chop and change races
