A couple races can debuff weapon skills, a couple can debuff mitigation, some have added stuns. +weapon skills is better than you think (maybe RoK mobs will have higher avoidence). I just don't think this stuff is as minor as everyone is playing it off to be. I'll take a couple good passive skills over a triggered with a long reuse any day.

Do you work for SOE? Why are you trying so hard to actually make these racials sound balanced? You are actually saying its OK to put in an overpowered ability for dark elves because "it would make alot of people happy" (see other thread for this lovely comment). Seriously, how deep down your throat is Aeralik's dick?
For a 2 hour zone, 24 seconds every 5 minutes is a good 12 minutes of noticeably boosted dps. This will push a zonewide parse up at least a hundred dps, and it will only continue to improve as your dps goes up (go go %age based abilities). Compare that to an ability that can be used every 3 minutes and does about 300 damage. That might add 15dps (and that's being exceedingly generous) over a 2 hour zone. Does that sound balanced to you? Try to think without a dick in your mouth for like 5 seconds ok?

you know how much of a difference 5 skills is? 0.5% in accuracy maybe if you're lucky... thats right. 0.5% increase on like what? 1k autoattack dps? whats that? 5 dps? ah ok...
and the buffed ability gives like Alania wrote already at least 100 dps on a ZW

Dude, it doesn;t matter if it is worth considering or not... what matters is the considering that was done 3 years ago. Rerolling is not an option. The months it would take to level up to where we are now puts people months behind where they would be if they weren't pushed into rerolling. No change should be instituted three years into the game that so clearly unbalances things that people would be forced to question fundamental character decisions which we were told would have no bearing. I remember the conversations with the names in red back in the beginning. They said what difference will an extra 4 points in strength mean when you get to level 50? Go ahead, roll the race/class combo you want, your choice will have no bearing on how well you can fill that roll. Well clearly it now does, and that is why we are pissed. Somebody starting the game has a distinct advantage of being able to optimize that people who have been playing and PAYING for 3 years do not have unless they are willing to scrap 3 years of time and effort.
That is an unacceptable choice to be pushed into making.

Just as both t7 x-pacs im sure we will be hitting the avoid curve very hard where + def, + parry and Mit mean dicko. Therefore special buffs such as immunities and Hp boost would matter more.

For PvP, it's the classes that get the +50% in-combat runspeed, so Sarnaks and Kerrans look to be the new overpowered PvP'ers.
It's funny, as a Fury I spent 25 AA's to get 45% in-combat runspeed and it generated about a bazillion threads about how in-combat runspeed was overpowered. The Dev's nerfed all in-combat runspeed except racial traits, now they give a freebie 50% in-combat runspeed that requires ZERO AA's and it's somehow not overpowered? WTF?!?!?!
OK, that wasn't enough, I had Pact of the Cheetah, which gave me a temporary 56% in-combat runspeed buff, it's a level 39 spell, enhancable via AA's, yet it was so overpowered in PvP they DISABLED THE SPELL ENTIRELY. So yeah, I'm hella pissed that they just screwed me over in favor of a kerran/sarnak ... all this talk of dark elves being overpowerd, F that, gimme my fugging in-combat runspeed back and eliminate all this racial runspeed stuff, it's OVERPOWERED IN PVP.
I came to play PvP, not to play EverRUNAWAY!

Trolls are the only race that get + slashing skill besides humans, plus they have a limited fear immunity. Just because they didn't get anything to add to defense skill it doesn't mean they won't make good tanks.

I tested this on a fabled beta buffed barb monk. at 30% hp(almost dead) he gained .2 advoidance. The ability is very effected by dininished returns and well brawler are well into that curve already arnt they? My monk is not my main so iam not really sure but .2% seems very small. This increase was not enough to save him btw. that was with a little under 12k advoidance when testing.
