New Show/Hide commands requested

While its probably to late to make the next big patch, I'd like to bring up an old gripe of mine. I think we could use a few more /show and /hide commands for Primary, Secondary and Ranged slots.

1) /hideshield and /showshield (or hidesecondary showsecondary)
-I can hide my cloak, but I'd like to hide my towershield too. I get tired of seeing the shield but would rather not de-equip it or use a cloak to hide it (as I dont care for cloaks either).

2) /hidebow and /showbow
-I'm sure plenty of rangers would rather walk around with the bow on their back. My oldest gripe.

3) /hideweapon and /showweapon (or hideprimary showprimary)
-Better than having to de-equip your primary/secondary weapons. This would include hiding 2-handers from being shows on your back.

These commands would only affect views when not in combat, so its just a cosmetic thing.

i second that idea. have you /feedbacked + posted it on the beta forums yet?

considering RP aspects, you just shouldnt be able to see any weapons on an assassin/brigand for your 3rd idea

a "nice" image for your 1st idea... ever saw an ogre warrior with a saucer on its back? (ironplate shielding)

Only works while under an illusion spell as an Arasai or Fae.

Ogres DO NOT HAVE WINGS! This is not a feature, it's a pain in the arse. Get rid of it!

I'd really like a /hidemount. Mounts have nice buffs, but it's too obnoxious to use them to move around in raid zones that let you use them. Let us cast them at any time (including indoors and outdoors) and just /hide them.

In the original EQ, they had a /hidecorpse command which was quite useful, just because sometimes so many corpses could get stacked up it was annoying

slightly OT from the cosmetic commands but still would be nice!

/hide pets is one I really wish was possible. Yes we can hide our own, but goddam I'm sick to death of seeing the stupid cowbeasts/lions/wisps/tomes/quacker fucking yig etc everywhere. I don't want to see them, please give us an option to hide others pets...

Exactly. It's a shame when you spend plat or DKP on a mount with some nice effects, only to lose it for the rest of the zone when you die.

/hidemount because the carpet is fucking ugly.
