I pre-ordered RoK from Amazon UK - I've just received the following about my order:-

" Dear Customer

We wanted to give you an update on the status of your order.

Unfortunately, the release date for the item listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:-

"Everquest II: Rise of Kunark (PC)
Estimated arrival date 15th Nov - 16th Nov"

Anyone ordered from Amazon US and got the same thing? Or is this just Amazon UK being retards?

Official forums still quoting the downtime as today for release of the expansion.....

Have sent rude email to Amazon, and will be cursing if I have to re-order from somewhere else and lose my pre-order bonus....

Gonna answer my own question I think - I reckon Amazon UK are bullshitting me - checked Amazon US and it's showing as "in stock", so I reckon Amazon UK are just having supply problems, which is fair enough (well okay it's not fair enough, it's bloody annoying, but still), but it's BS to claim that the delay is because Sony have delayed the release....

I also ordered from Amazon UK. Estimated delivery date (15th) hasn't changed for me. Maybe an issue with their faster delivery options?

After my email this morning from Amazon UK that they delayed and shipped to my door on Friday earliest I cancelled my pre-order at Amazon.

Went to eq2players and tried to order digi download....but those morons of course forgot to put the new order form for Kunark download up AFTER they removed the pre-download.

Fucked double in 5 minutes by SOE.

I went with 1st class delivery - my original delivery estimate was 13th - 14th Nov - then I got that email this morning.....

I just think it's so much shit for them to claim that the release date was changed by the supplier as the reason they have delayed delivery.....

They've generally left the digital downloads down until the servers are settled in the afternoon, then shortly after bring back up the order form.

I think its SOE pulling another of their great pranks, and has nothing to do with Amazon. (if they would have had the boxes the 12th as they said they would, and IF SOE would have allowed they would not have kept them on stock.)

Nah, Amazon Uk seems to be 2days behind most of the time, I recall on Eq2 Launch I had the same problem, I only got my copies 2 days late ...

Since then Digital download for me, or UBISoft!

nope, preorder anywhere online to qualify for the preorder bonus..
in store preorder is what you want to avoid because you dont get preorder bonus that way.
