a friend of mine was attempting to find rok this morning at his local gamestop
i suggested, since he couldnt find it, that he run his little butt home and use the online digital download. he said he couldnt find it.
so i logged into the sony store to see what i could dig up.
click on the 'preorder rok' button and click on 'buy now'
where did it take me? the main page.
so i click the shopping cart
empty.

easy? i think not.
although the digital download is a good suggestion, ill have to tell him that if he didnt find anything.

There was one choice for ALL the expansions for $40. However, this choice merely stated I would be buying "all the expansions released to date." Did this mean RoK since it has not technically been released yet? The picture next to this option was a picture of EoF!!!!1!!!1!
Baffled, I went to another site selling the direct download. Contrary to SoE's website, the competitor made it clear that I was ordering RoK. Thank you very much.
I really don't care anymore why SoE can't make ordering their own xpac simple and easy. Everything you do with these people regarding your account takes enormous hoops to jump through. /sigh

/agree it took me 10 mins to figure out how to downlaod the fuckin expansion pack.

whats fucked up is they push you to buy station access.
not to mention the bullshit no name non accredited college pop up i got while trying to find the fuckin link to dwn load the rok expansion.

if i click a fuckin link to the game i pay to play for, 1. i dont want to see any ads or pop ups or any kind of bullshit.

on the launch pad it says rok is here, click for digital download,

just link me to where i put in the fuckin cc info, and let me download the god damn expansion.

I searched through their terms and conditions.... took me about 20 minutes just to FIND their rules for the forum... and that was their rules for Station.com, not even sure if that IS their forums. Anyways, absolutely no mention of not being allowed to express an opinion that is 'negative'... even if you're disagreeing with someone, showing real evidence (parses) and not making any kind of personal attack, swearing, et all.

You didn't get banned for mentioning D2D. They are an authorized digital retailer and SOE has advertised for them themselves. In fact, EQ2 Players was how I knew to pre-order from D2D. So you're assumption was wrong and the change to re-post was meaningless.

Re-posting is never okay. Says so in the rules. Once you're smacked, cover your face and nuts and stay down.

Knobrin is a fucking retard whose decision to ban people depends on how far his man thong is riding up his crack.

All it takes is for one of his boy friends to hit the [Report This Post] key and he starts spamming his Ban button.

The best part of the ban message is where he puts "and you can contact the Admin if there are any questions" ...but you can't, because you're banned. Took me 8 PMs of his circle jerk talking before he finally admitted that there is no one you can contact. He and Grimwank are the admins.

I was perma banned back in 06 for the many solo debates i was involved in. I forgt the word stary used but basically said i was inciting civil unrest. Anyways Echgar was the one to ban me but he did give me several chances to change my attitude with what was going on. I didnt and he banned me for good.

All and all I have found better forums else where for eq2 and other MMO info. What good were the eq2 forums anyways? Anytime you brought up something worth talking about they locked/moved/deleted the post.
