Patcher -- Is it me? Or the majority
Heya,
My patcher has a rediculous 'estimated time remaining' -- And further it is running about 3-6KB/s about the speed of a 56k modem. I have a 20Mbps connection, (2MEG/s),.. Is this the norm right now? And, if so, what/when will it speed up?
Any ideas on how to speed it up currently?
Its currently on "Char_exp04_wep01.vpk_delta...."

I can't even connect to the network to begin the patch...keeps erroring out, so even your slow download rate is better than some. =\

28 hours here .. does anyone know if theres a file that says what the patcher is downloading like a log file, or did download?

i was "done" with patching after like a minute... i copied the files form beta...
the d/l time was so insane fast though that i suspect that i didnt get all the files though.. lol.. and no, full file scan and changing to us in region select dont help

Keep in mind that the SoE network is pretty bogged down today with everybody trying to get on the forums and both games being worked today much less they aren't even done updating all the servers and are probably still doing a it of internal work using up network resources.

When I left my place for work this morning it was at 21 hours left but as long as it's finishes download sometime within the 8 hours I'm a work today I'm good

Is there any way we can disable downloading voice and music packs?
I never have the sound on in game so it would make things a bit quicker for me.
