Did that many people really whine about this to become such a big issue they've decided to design zone content and loot around people that cry about how someone was camping a named? Contested dungeons hardly had a problem with unlegit plat farmers, only named in overland zones did. So, if the change was for the later, this solves nothing. All this change did was make it so after someone has completed the zone, they will never ever go back there again, ever. WTG on making content that won't even matter anymore prior to the next tier unless they force you to go there over and over with dumb quests that become even more discouraging because there is close to no chance on receiving any sort of loot to compensate your time. Heck, at least when you had to do qeynos claymore, you'd run accross a good run of legendary/treasures with some masters mixed in while you were running the questline.
Bad decision imho.

You must have never played in the T5 days then. While we are at it, lets put the named needed for quests back on 2 hour timers too. MIght as well make the rare harvestables extremely rare again and put them in heritage quests.
There was at least one bot group, and up to 3 in every dungeon back then farming the named. It took some peeps weeks of camping (due to competition for the named) and LOTS of frustration to finish some quests.....
Lets have the economy go back to the way it was back then too. 4 plat for a common/cheap T5 master and 3 plat for an ebon cluster. That'd end up with common/cheap T8 masters going for around 32 plat and rare metals at about 24 plat.
Yeah, GREAT idea. Go farm some instances...

Also, glowing buttons are not obvious when you don't suck at pulling and bring him to the stairs.

I recall reading somewhere in beta forums that the devs stated the drop rates on static named was going to be very,very rare, with the exception of instances/raid mobs.

Actually you must be a fucking idiot because it took us about a second to figure out why he was healing and how to stop it.
Maybe they should have a big flashing message that pops up on your screen that says click the big fucking green things with the green stuff shooting off of it NOW.

look man, if you like killing something and having no reward that's great. And you know what, I'd love to farm some instances in the new zones, oh wait a second, there are no appropriate instances with this new expansion until later levels. The option now is going to old content that doesn't drop level appropriate spells farming. GG whoever thought it would be neat to not have many low t8 instance content. I'd imagine those low level masters are gonna be tough like those lvl 61 ones were to obtain.
I call bs on your call on bot groups, at least on the server I'm on. It wasn't until late late t5, early t6 that bot groups became rampant in zones like ools which I'm sure you're refering to. I never saw one bot group in pf while I lvl'ed up there and went to get the named for access to the raid zone. I also never saw bot groups in CT while leveling up and getting access to the zone needed for the HQ until early when t6 content was released. Also, named for lavastorm HQ's were never camped by bot groups when t5 was the current content. Maybe on your server things were different. If it was then you have a valid argument.
Furthermore, I'm not asking for 2 hour spawns . Not sure really what you're derailment there was about. It was then supported by your last paragraph stating the result of ultra rare harvests and spells. I think you are mis interpreting what I'm saying because this last paragraph you typed and the sentence refering to two hour spawns has nothing to do with Named with no chest drops. I didn't even remotely ask for any of that. If you're going to make an argument, at least make one against what I'm saying, not stuff that you're just making up.
Lastly, the only thing that making chests more rare with possible masters/legendary/rares in them is going to do one thing, drive the price of masters/legendary/rares up. There will be less supply and the prices will go up. Its pretty simple. The last thing I want is for the average Joe to have to dish out crazy amounts of plat for masters that mainly raiders will have access too.
So, I stand by my decision that Named with no loot is unhealthy for the game.
But you know what, these named still have a chance for loot. So guess what. If there is anything of slight value that drops from them, people are still going to camp and farm them so this really solves nothing. If people are being disruptive to gameplay that is another issue that shouldn't be resolved by changing how loot drops imho. There is another system already in place for this. Its /report. I think its a shame this was SOE's solution to this problem.
