Re: 5 and a half hours extra download after installing rok from DVD?
I bought the dvd version at one point i was looking at 114hours o.O kept having to cancel the download and restart
But files like exp04_rgn_timorous_deep.vpk are 50,306kb on the dvd yet once patched are 63424kb. It seems the patch doesn't install just the parts of the files you need but reinstalls the whole file. I've found many of the zones to be 7-15kb more than dvd release.
It simply boils down to the fact soe probably had the DVD's made up weeks before launch and so much content has been changed added. I could rant about it but it doesn't fix or change the problem and i kind of expected it tbh.
