If farmers can make more money by forming guilds and raiding content than by botting...and they do that...they're no longer botting, are they?

Nothing wrong with farming...everybody does it when they need cash unless they leech off their guild.

Even if its on leader only the plat gets split amongst those in the raid when the chest is opened. Probably that other option, auto split coin loot or something has to be changed in group/raid options.

I've been talking about it forever and ever. Whack-a-mole is short term thinking that never fixes the problem, only mitigates it. Stop dropping master spells from trash mobs. Period. The range of harvest skill needed apparently got widened. Shrink it the fuck back down to prevent people from harvesting shit they can't even use. Make all quest nameds no-loot, and contested heroic nameds rare/placeholder-oriented. Bonemire isn't pharmed anymore, guess why.

If you have no answers to this problem then it is because you aren't even trying. If you demand a 100% answer instead of an 80% one then not only are you not trying, but you're trying to cockblock the people who ARE trying.

I hear you, and yes it sounds good, but here's what my original point was: It's a successful business they don't want to lose- they will find a way.

If plat farmers have to get more into the actual gamer mindset to keep their business running, they will likely do it, or look for other ways to exploit. Likely they will also triple their efforts on the rare-harvesting. There will always be some way for them to generate in-game commodities that they can turn into cash. Your suggestions might slow their income, but only temporarily. And the reason Bonemire isn't farmed anymore is because it wasn't farmed all that much to begin with- there were always better zones for them to reap, why waste time there.
