No, losing an inordinate amount of xp that was gained without this quest is justified.

Roll Backs Too Harsh?
Personally I think anyone who logged in/out should be suspended and rolled back. I also think that anyone that did the quest more than a couple times should be rolled back the amount of experience they gained from said quest.
SOE rolled people back to level they were when they did this quest for the very first time regardless of how little experience they actually gained. Myself, I gained 75% from this quest and SOE took 575% away from me.

Re: Roll Backs Too Harsh?
If they messed up and the repeated quest regular xp was too high, the most they should have done, is just scale the xp rewarded from this quest down to what they intended to be, and not touched any other aspect of characters (i.e. the complete rollback that we saw).
And then off course rolled back/banned/suspended/whatever those people that they found to be using the logout/in exploit to force the quest steps to progress.
Painting everyone with the same brush is stupid - so either their tools/logs dont show the necessary info to differentiate, or they are just being lazy. If i had to guess, they are being lazy since I am sitting at 140 spent AAs, and 312 unspent AAs due to this rollback.

Re: Roll Backs Too Harsh?
Yup, complete and utter bullshit, I gained about 75% xp from this quest gaining faction for the burynai, bobbing and weaving through mobs to collect boneshrooms and rock snakes for hours, went on and did just about all the other quests in Fens of Nathsar and just about all the Jungle quests and got rolled back almost 4 entire fucking lvls. Brilliant logic SOE. And whoever it was who reported me on my server can kiss my ass. You know who you are.

Re: Roll Backs Too Harsh?
If they messed up it's not your fault. You should have no penalty against you. You still had to do SOME work in order to gain the xp.
