If the stuff in there greys out at 80 anyway I'm not sure I see a problem with it. If anything it helps solve the whining we got in KoS when those nasty level 70's were harvesting nodes with impunity where the poow ickle lowbies were having the snot kicked out of them by the mobs there.

What about making that a 10 min illusion with an hour recast? That would make the quest completable but the harvesing much "harder".

SoE had to make that deadline. Rolling out unfinished products makes the cash roll in.
Or you know maybe next time they should try to put an emphasis on testing the beta instead of making money off of it.

I agree. The thought passed by me, but i decided leveling was more important.

Anyway, an exploit like this is especially bad on the bazaar, prices wont drop on rares no mater how many are farmed this early into the xpac, and all plat made off this kind of exploit can turn into real money easily.

But what does SOE care? they get 10% of all sales right?

Then again I'm sure plenty of illegal RMT guys are doing it on your servers.

Wow, just wow. Honestly this is the most pathetic thing I have seen in a long time. You hear of one exploit that helps people level fast and people start screaming exploit on everything. What is the issue here? They are able to get rares and you cant? Get to level 80 and you can harvest in several places with grey mobs with NO agro. Is this an exploit too? If it is I guess I should be banned because I do this all day.

They are all just sad panda's cos they turned in the quest hehe :P

But ya it feels wrong to me but they didnt fix it unlike a number of other *weird game mechanics* that have since been poofed. As an 80 alchy this spider suit made getting 9 billion common loams (about 350/lvl) much easier and not having to pay 60s for each. And hell, stupid damn silicate loams are silly prices on the broker, and im supporting things that gets em back into affordable territory. Wonder what the prices would be without this suit *exploit*

I, for one, turned in the quest

So now I'll have to make my own drachnid skin suit and mutter "It puts the silicate loam in the basket"

Ebeel exploiting Tiggin.

Having blithely turned in the quest I guess I'll just have to level to 80 before going blind on harvesting.

Now where was that repeatable camp/bug quest again ......
