Non aggro harvesting in spider caves KP (Sploit?) - Page 3

Geez, this is a lame complaint. I did the quest and turned it in and never even used the danged disguise. Didn't realize i had a disguise. I can sneak through those caves and harvest just fine. Occasionally I have to kill a spider, but that takes about 5 seconds and breaks up the monotony.

The only reason I even know which quest this is is because a guildmate told me about it while he was harvesting. It was funny how much quicker I got to the nodes than him.

I'll admit I did contemplate not turning the quest in...

But only because I wanted a drachnid illusion, when I found out it poofed if you move away from the hill I handed it in, with a tear in my eye.

I agree, I did the quest without ever using the spider form, they should just make it a 30 min duration total then it disappears. If you wanna waste the time mining, fine, but then you'll have to kill everything in there to finish the quest.

If anyone gets banned or suspended for this, keep it quiet or at least lie and say you did something worthwile. JFC this is trivial.

You can slice this as either using the tools at your disposal intelligently or an exploit. Was using the Dark Elf Illusion form to infiltrate Freeport an exploit? The only way to fucking know if its an exploit is to know the design intention. Unless that is published its guesswork.

If you don't declare how something is intended to work and then punish people for not using it as it is intended... WTF!!!!! Sure if someone logs out and gets a quest update for harvesting something they know they didn't... the intended design is clearly spelled out with "You must harvest x number of widgets in order to fulfill this quest". If they truly banned/suspended people for repeating a repeatable quest that they failed to test properly shame on them. If they ban/suspend people for an illusion item that makes you non-agro to npc's thats just stupid of them for putting it in the game in the first place. Unless it says something like "This is only intended for ...". I don't know I just trained the shit out of those caves to get my L&L and never looked back.

It's an Exploit in my opinion. It unfair to players that did the quest as intended. It needs to go. I'd like to see them take the Rares back.. Would server the people that knowingly used it.

Anyone that thinks you should beable to walk around Agro Mobs.. Non Agro without Doing a ton of faction at least.. Should have known better.

Aye, it should be fixed. Yawl aren't seeing how it can really be exploited.

Go harvest until the mask goes poof, delete the quest and then start all over.......

It doesn't even go poof, after an hour just recast it

who the hell cares, its pathetic, its just a bit of mining that, at level 80 you can do with no aggro anyways or at level 70 you can do with sneak, besides sooooo many people are doing it, it would be impossible to police, and for those who said "oh i just did the quest and handed it straight in" "i'm an angel" its bs.
