Default The size of RoK and the rest of the game.

How big is the actual expansion land (in terms of exploration) compared to the other expansions and the rest of the game?

The same size really, you just zone less and still suffer through shitty zone design.

So this means that RoK is filled with boring, sandbox like zones with no sense of exploration and like everything was purposefully set up as if it were for a game, and not how you'd think things would occur in real life?

The zonelines are defined and mostly surreounded by rivers/mountains/oceans to keep the whole zone boxed in, nothing seems natural, and you cannot get lost, cannot really go off the road and get owned, travel is easymode and there is no danger?

Or is just the bland art stlye of WoW what you meant?

actually the art work is well done, and the zones are nice.

There real is no benefit for having huge zones though....it just makes lag and endless quests to force you to see it all.

The large zones are just what the doctor ordered. However, when you have to cross large territory in the course of one quest, then get 1-2% xp for it, that can wear a man down. As descriptive as many of the new quests are, the cost of making the wrong guess about an update location on a bad quest gets very high. The sooner you progress to Kunzar Jungle and get the hell out of Fens, the less likely you'll be to post flames on this site about the issue.
