Re: "Warp Hacking"
Hmmm could Warp-Hacking be a problem?
I've seen players on Nek moving through the ROK zones at incredible speeds for a week now. I'm rolling a fury... I hit Pact and Sprint at the same time while wearing 10% speed bonus boots to cap a 99% run speed for 36 seconds and can't come close to the speeds people are running around on foot. I tried to catch up to 4 different players last night alone and had no chance. Specifically in the Fenns and the Jungle.
It's more then just one or two players or confined to one guild and I would guess it's to wide spread to be a CPU problem.

Re: "Warp Hacking"
I can't remeber whos vid this is and the name is hard to see, it was from the naggy section of the forums I had the link cause I emailed it to a friend when I was trying to explain what hack an opponent did to me on pvp. I tried to search it to give credit but can't find it. But here is a warp hack caught on video

Re: "Warp Hacking"
It matters more that someone seen you doing it and decided to petitioned it, or atleast assume you are doing something illegal because they don't understand what they are seeing, than it does you actually doing it. If enough people complain, or if a single complaint happens to land in the right hands, shit gets done. I see toons warping around alot, but not sure if they are lagging real bad, I am lagging real bad, both, or neither have any lag yet I just see them moving super fast. Maybe they have legit run speeds maybe not. They should have the run speed listed in the persona that other people see, and maybe if people can see it is legit run speed, they won't report for possibly warping/ghosting/whatever. Of course if someone just feels like being a dick they still can.

Re: "Warp Hacking"
Something tells me that use of cheat engine may be a realistic possibility here. It would certainly make turning quests in easier if you knew the loc of the quest npc off hand eh? People don't get accidentally banned for warp hacking bro - hell, a GM will REFUSE to take action against a player for any infringement of the EULA unless it is provable through unbiased data or the GM witnesses it him/herself. Thus, screenshots and fraps are not valid proof for petitions, nor is heresy.
If you want to me to briefly outline the various methods of warp hacking, let me know. You can decide which you used.

Basically, it's a memory editor. With it you can search for data that is live in your PC's memory banks and then modify it. As the majority of folks here are of at least average intelligence, I'll let you all ponder the ramifications of that quietly.

Yes, the do ban/suspend on biased data. Sorry but saying they don't is like saying they don't implement bugged content.
Cochy, sucks for ya man, but hopefully you'll get it escalated enough to get that fixed.

Why don't yall just say a memory editor then I would have known I can vouch for Cochy and would put my account on the line that he DID NOT use a memory editor. He simply isn't computer savvy enough to know how to use a program like that.

I agree, its pretty obvious if he posted here not knowing what exactly the subject was he was accused and suspended for he wasn't doing it. It was probably some butthurt individual saw him moving fast and /petitioned just to be a dick. I would think that GM's would at least look into it before judging... but it is obvious they didn't. They should know the difference between legal speed buffs and exploits you would think. Wait maybe Yuyoy's buddy Chandrok did it?

I can assure you I did not use any speed hacks but go ahead and list them if you want. Considering I thought I was banned for the repeatable quest until I got my petition reply pretty much anyone in Disso can attest to that and this thread wouldn't exist if I had been warp hacking as I wouldn't have hit me as such a shock to be banned for "warp hacking".
