Just looking for ideas for the best class combination for a 3 person grp. Was thinking SK, Necro/Conj, Defiler. Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

IMO, SK, defiler, warlock.

I box SK and defiler myself, would add a warlock but 3 boxing is too much work, and then I'd be a bot group.

I two box an SK and Defiler as well and have since Kunark went live back in Eq1. They work great together. If I was to add a third toon, it would be a necro or warlock. The debuffs for all 3 would work well to max the dps output.

Swash, mystic, dirge ftw

It takes more pulling finesse to get the mobs in auto attack range but this group can devour mobs. Of course one of these better be an alchemist cause your swash is gonna go through LOTS of poisons.

You get more survivability against large melee hits with the SK/shaman/warlock combination and the dps is much less positional, but the dirge adds a huge amount of survivability and oration of sacrifice adds another heal. Haven't gotten my dirge to 80 yet but that new increased ward/heal spell will be nice.

I didn't design this from the start, but its what I ended up with playing the toons I like and its a hell of a lot of fun.

i'd say monk + fury + wizzy if the would fix monk aa's...

but, as it is now, i'll just add my vote to the sk + defiler + warlock combo

My vote is for zerker-dirge-inquiz. There is a big synergy since they all buff the hell out of each other and they are all melee

Though probably not as interesting as SK + warlock + defiler...a non-evil version that I've worked with is Pally + warlock + fury. You get all the travel options available plus the int buffs help everybody and the haste/dps buff from the fury on the tank is nice. Mystic ain't that bad either.
