Worried about the difficulty of EoF raids
I am worried about the difficulty of EoF raid zones. From what I have heard, Vagabonds has killed Wuoshi(the final mob in Emerald Halls), along with having killed Mayong Mistmoore in the Inner Santcum of Mistmoore. I am just concerned that if this content is already being defeated in beta, by a guild who is, imo, not in the top 5 guilds WW. I have no problems with Clockwork Menance being defeated so easily, since it is considered KoS difficulty, which any guild that has killed Matron should easily be able to trounce.
I'm sorry, but if you want to add raid progression(which Lyndro has stated that you do) then these raid zones need to be beefed up, otherwise there so very little raid progression, that it is hard to tell the difference between KoS raid difficulty and EoF raid difficulty. Right now, there is Labs/Lyceum/HoS/Deathtoll(sans-Tarinax) are all roughly the same difficulty, with Tarinax being at the top(this is only for instanced mobs). Then we add in TFD with Chel'Drak and the Matron which added some form of Raid Progression, that Matron is more difficult than Chel'Drak, with Chel'Drak even more difficult than all of KoS. I'd like to see that sort of progression in EoF, however from what I'm hearing, the progression won't be like that at all. It is sounding like EoF is like KoS style progression, everything is level except a few things are a bit above, and even then EoF is doable in KoS gear, which means there isn't any progression.
Now, before all the non-raiders start butting into this. I don't care about heroic content. The way it is now is just fine. I don't want it changed. So please, if you want to start saying bad stuff about raiders and wanting everything else nerfed, this is not the post for you. I do not want anything but RAIDS changed. Nothing else, but raids. Let me repeat, this is only about raids, nothing else. I really don't care about non-raids, so this is ONLY about raids, period.

Re: Worried about the difficulty of EoF raids
IMO, they should make one zone a KoS difficulty zone, on par with Deathtoll, which would be the new "standard" for EoF like labs is for KoS and Courts was for DoF. Then the other raiding zones should step up in difficulty, Wuoshi himself should be the hardest instanced mob, on par with matron being the toughest instance boss of the next expansion up.
Mayong being such a pussy absolutley needs to be fixed, he should make the matron look like a moat rat. I don't even care that with him being that tough my guild would probably never kill him, I just don't want to see him getting world firsted before Christmas. The avatars should all be on par with mayong early in their buffs, but lowering as far down as MO difficulty when their buffs wear off over a week or two. I've yet to play EoF yet, beta patcher has 3 hours left. I've heard mixed oppinions, but i've generally gotten that it will be a great expansion if you aren't level capped, if you aren't a raider, or if you love to make alts.

Big mistake to instance Woushi, IMO.
They should have made him a contested that spawns right next to a Wizard portal

Re: Worried about the difficulty of EoF raids
Hmm Calaglin, there was a misunderstanding somewhere. I was just talking to Vellek and they didn't clear those instances on beta.
So the person I got the info from was wrong or misunderstood my question or something, so /shrug.
They've killed Pumpkin Headed on beta I know for sure, but they did not kill Maayong or Wuoshi.
So I'm sorry for relaying inaccurate info :P

Re: Worried about the difficulty of EoF raids
I don't know how that rumor got started, we have not killed Mayong Mistmoore, nor Wuoshi. In fact, I haven't even done a Mistmoore raid with my guild. :-P However, I am a little worried about the difficulty of these raids myself, even though I have limited experience with EoF so far.
We did go into Emerald Halls our first time this week, with only three groups, and killed every named except Wuoshi in 2 pulls or less. Unfortunately we didn't get to do any pulls on Wuoshi. I have even been in crappy pickup raids that have killed all the nameds besides Wuoshi. I do not know of anyone killing Wuoshi yet, and I'm hoping he's significantly harder than the rest of the zone. I've already /feedback'd multiple times suggesting they beef up the nameds in there. XD
As for Pumpkin Headed Horseman... I hope he's broken. We killed him tonight in about 2 minutes flat. His "aoe" did 1k damage, and he hit like a girl. Reminded me of the eyeball thing in Labs just before Vyemm, but with more hitpoints. At least SOE got the risk vs reward right on him and he dropped a shitty legendary 2 hander. Maybe he's a quest mob. :-P
We were in Freethinker's Hideout tonight. Seemed harder than Emerald Halls.

Re: Worried about the difficulty of EoF raids
Here's the LEET loot out of Emerald Halls.... Just killed the first named and this dropped out of our lovely master chest. Pure crap. Interesting fight tho. Coercer mob, lots of charming, mem wipes, ae's. Adds are a mix of wardens and more chanters, so it makes for a long but fun fight.

Re: Worried about the difficulty of EoF raids

Some nice fabled set items dropped off other nameds which were pretty cool and >>> KoS loot. So EH isn't that bad itemized at all :D
