Enjoyed solo/heroic content with a great selection of pets to charm. Enjoyed some of the raid content as mobs seem to be casting more reliably such that keeping spell scourge up at all times is actually a challenge (in a good way, it means more dps). But it's a shame there are so few multimob encounters - this is where we do best (other than perhaps long named fights).
On the whole, it FEELS better damage-wise, but I don't think that really indicates that, in the bigger picture, coercers are better off. We're ill-conceived as a class because we do our best when everyone else around us fucking sucks, eg, can't hold aggro, can't debuff properly, isn't dressed appropriately, etc. So it's early yet to make definitive claims about how I feel about damage output.
Given that a) our L80 spell seems to pale in comparison to fucking clickies ANYONE can get from a quest, b) our buffs are still questionably useful (again, entirely contingent on the shittiness of your raid), and c) we're still just generally underpowered...By the time everything equalizes we may very well be back to being disparaged!
It's kinda like your previously-abusive dad giving you a really nice birthday present...only to molest you later that night. =(
