Default Re: RoK and the way you feel about your class.

Right now I'm focusing on my warlock. Haven't had all that much time to play since RoK came out, so I'm just barel finishing up Fens and moving in to KJ. Haven't seen JW or and instances yet.

I don't really mind the lack of linked mobs, as I can pretty much 2-3 shot most of the solo mobs anyway. Though when I do find the occasional linked group it's sure nice to whip out the AE's too. Maybe I'll see a difference in instances or something, but for now. . . I've easily duo'd white ^^^'s with a wizard, and while duo'd with a necro we got an orange ^^^ to 25%. I solo blue ^^^'s as easily as before, and yellow ^ whether "regular" or named all fall just as easily as ever, if not more so.

So. . . still loving the warlock, in spite of the expense of the spell upgrades.

Removing daze from PoTM and the abundance of spell and melee adjusting items is making the troub class a lot more fun - as I expected it would. The class feels more flexible in terms of how you choose to spec and dps, more so than in EoF because the gains in any particular area (spell dmg or melee crits) were fairly small. In RoK we're going to be able to really push either of these (or maybe both) with the kind of gear that's dropping in raids.
