And before you jump on me as well mwhym I read the whole post and I can understand both sides point of view. In my opinion it is still too early to tell. No there isn't the same amount of heroic content as T7, but T7 had 2 expansions in it. But as it stands there is a ton of solo content. Seems like there is enough right now to keep everyone occupied so I don't think this new expansion has broken (or will break) the game, yet.

I wouldn't jump on you because your opinion is different from mine, thats not the case above.
I don't disagree that T7 had 2 expansions, all I am saying is that in my view a game of this age should have introduced more heroic content. My main concern when I made this post was that I felt that there was a fundamental shift in game philosophy. I am in no way advocating for solo play, that was just one idiot's assumption.
For me - as it stands - I find the heroic content available to be limited, maybe they will add more maybe they wont, I cant tell what will happen. Past experience, yes, showed some (combat) content addition (unrest - sof), while unrest was great and in timely fashion (although by the account of many it should had been included in EoF) the addition of SoF was in my opinion very ill timed, because while it was a very nice instance it came too close to the launch of RoK (in essence adding top content to the previous tier only a short time before introducing the next tier).
While it may be too early too judge, personally I really think that the extreme ammounts of solo content can not keep most people occupied for too long.
Also after having done several instances several times, I am totally bewildered that almost everything that dropped was not an upgrade to stuff that came off some cakewalk quests. Again in my eyes its unreasonable that named mobs in an instance where you need a solid group to progress dropped (repeatedly) legendary stuff that is worse that treasured quested stuff you can solo with zero risk.
Solo content is a joke so far, and yes I would enjoy the opportunity of having the option of doing something challenging when I choose to solo. In all their flaws, or whatever else, KOS-EOF (and the FD pack) offered a more scaled approach.
I will stick to my opinion that I believe the way content is laid out in this expansion, it can become a problem, I hope it doesn't and I really hope I have just missed out on most of RoK's essence in this time frame and that it will keep me "happily" occupied for a year, I doubt it but I can not exclude the possibility.
Cheers
