Wouldn't have it any other way.

Hey Aduros, I think I realize now why you do have so many posts.

It seems you are one of those people who can't seem to handle when somebody makes a valid point or flame against you, and you just have to reply to keep from looking bad, despite the fact that you don't always have the proper ammo. I mean, several times in this thread you did just that. Yes, it is EQ2flames, but when your flames carry no logic, they lose the ability to burn.

For example (one out of many), after he accused you of "seeming to have an unnatural obsession with EQ2", you made this reply to Rhau:

"You do realize that people use the forums for other things than just EQ2 right? no? Didn't think so."

Well, if you are seriously trying to use that argument for this discussion, then why are you posting on a thread entitled "A Large-Scale Fundamental Change to EQ2"?? Hmmmmm?

Or how about when you told him:

"...your dumber than this prepubescent tantrum leads on."

....You mean this "prepubescent tantrum" that you're not only contributing to, but keeping alive by replying to each individual comment that he made?

I have nothing against you personally, but man, know when to quit. It's like watching a bruiser go to town on a mob with a million hitpoints and a hardcore damage shield... and you're just tearing yourself up, but you keep auto-attacking anyways.

Live to fight another day man.

WoW has some good things; WoW has some bad things. EQII has some good things and some bad things. Bash EQII, bash EQII players, bash EQII bashers... go for it, this is EQII flames. But it's not WoWFans. When you come off as nothing more than a fanboi for another game don't expect people to give your opinion much weight. We'd not expect you to agree with someone trolling a WoW forum doing the same to that game.

At least we can say that people who post with the goal of being a prick are entertaining. Sometimes I fall into that category too.

Oh, just more useless rhetorical nonesense which once again got overshadowed by ego's, and more complaints for minor game issues to be fixed (as always), but on the whole nothing large-scale as was asked in the header.

The answer is no, the game doesn't need one. The game needs players who will accept small compromises to enjoy an MMO instead of looking for a game that makes everyone 100% happy, and devs who will get off their lazy behinds and prevent the small issues that CAN be fixed from lasting the lifespan of the game.

Oh... and more group instances.

Even if the game needed a large scale change, it won't happen. EQ2's on "coast along and collect money" mode.

I'd sign up for that. Wait, did I just respond to one of dickweed's posts?

You had to look no further than the last page to see that "It seems you are one of those people who can't seem to handle when somebody makes a valid point or flame against you, and you just have to reply to keep from looking bad, despite the fact that you don't always have the proper ammo." is false. It was literally 1 page ago.

It wasn't an argument for this discussion, the discussion was completely sidetracked with a personal flame against me, and nothing to do with the issues in this thread.

That is the essence of a flame. You trade rhetorical blows until someone concedes, what fun is there in flaming if everytime someone flames you say "I'm gonna be the bigger man, and walk away". This is an excuse often used by those at a loss for words, or lacking any meaningful retort.

Or the thread gets stuck in an infinite loop and is more tedious to maintain than it's worth.

Or because it is a complete waste of time, much like this post i'm making right now.
