If you want to include broker shit and vendor crap, yeah healers use and carry all kinds of potions, including power potions.

I'd go through many more power potions than scouts used poisons.

But I still agree with the OP, having to proc shit to get consumables so you can play your class sucks.

If they want to make you use that stuff, they should make it craftable, just like arrows, potions and poisons.

As a defiler, I would also like to see our group heal consumable castable rather than proc upon kill. I can cast a rez item, I should be able to cast the group heal consumable as well, I've never understood why that has to be a proc item.

Of the good side caster expenables, only one is still usable at 80, but it decreases mob attack speed by like 18 for 1 minute. Not a bad debuff, and I do run out to get it for tough fights.

Some seem to take offense to my exclusion of crafter made items but its only logical to take them out of the debate as we need them too. From food and drink to crit and stat pots to power and heal pots to cures, the only thing we don't buy are arrows, and I still think we should get slings, but that's for another debate. The farming of crystals is on top of all that, which noone else but Warlocks seems to have to schedule into their playtime.

Raid prep? You guys are talking about farming and crafting for an hour before each raid... are you people insane?

What do you think guild banks are for? Recruit harvesters/crafters, let them harvest/craft. Pull items from bank. Or, alternately, part of everyone's duty as part of a raiding guild should be to contribute to the bank.

The only thing we don't carry for raiders is arrows, and if you're a ranger then you have to roll with arrows no matter what you're doing... you just bring enough along for the raid. Otherwise we keep invis potions, poisions of various types, tinkered goodies, even Halasian Icebrew.

Yeah that is what we do, guild supplies poisions, potions, etc. We do arrows also but only so many will fit in the GB.

So I spend an hour before the raid running to the bank to pick up totems, potions, arrows, etc...

Mage carrying 6 32 slot boxes hates the fact that almost none of the ROK caster gear has any STR on it...

Some guilds provide everything for the members, some guilds provide the members with plat and expect them to be prepared themselves. Im more a fan of the later.
