How many Pre-LU13 mains? - Page 11

Been playing the same main since I started in Dec 04. A guy can only play the worst dps in the game for so long though, so my fav alt is a conjuror, fun, got to love actualying being able to hurt things.

Templar in EQ2 beta, was in that for 2 months.
Inq since game launch up until March 2005, changed main to;
Dirge and its been pretty much my main ever since. Also really enjoy playing my Guardian which was my main for a short while.

Ive had something like a total of 3 maybe 4 months overall rest from the game ever since beta. Been in all EQ2 beta's except KoS.

Been playing Andarielle from June 15th 2005. She has been and always will be my main. I've dabbled with some alts, but whenever I log on, i'm usually playing her.

EQ2 was the first mmo I ever played and Ileanna was the first toon I made the day I installed it back in February 2005. I have played her the entire time with a few under 40 alts along the way and a few crafters also around 40.

I did spend 2 or 3 weeks playing a guild alt Brig because Kazora had a hard on for multiple brigs in raid, but yeah, not really worth mentioning and i pretty much sucked at it lol.

Mysidia was created at launch and I played her up until four months ago. She has been and always will be my first "love" for the game. Playing a Druid class for me is like putting on a pair of warm comfortable jeans from the dryer. It just feels right.

I still have the first toon I ever rolled in EQ2, though he is now an alt. I rolled him back in Nov 2004 on the second day of the game. I've played lots of alts and one I rolled shortly after returning to the game (right around KoS) is now my main, as the changes to the game didn't leave me comfortable playing the class, so I rolled another one to relearn the mechanics and never really looked back

One of these days, I may finish up Shay, but not any time soon... What would I need with 2 high level paladins?

Started my first MMO back in December 9th of 2004, have always tried playing paladins in various games (baldurs gate series, icewind dale series, neverwinter nights, and older games like forgotten realms and dragonlance ones). Created Steel Battleguard that day and have never created a alt since. The closest i came to it was when it created multiple copies of me in betas. I have survived the nerfs(the old version of running wards) and rejoiced when we recieved a range slot item(symbols) and even happier when they allowed us bows. Cussed at them when they gave us spears to use and had to bring my piercing up 300 points, and laughed at guardians when they spent the afternoon raising their aggression skill from 0 to 350 and i insta toggled amends to 350 in 5 minutes. Cussed the devs when they broke divine aura and cheered them on when they fixed it and improved it. I really can't see myself as any other character than my dwarven paladin/armorer/transmuter and will probably be playing that way till the game shuts down...:-)

Still my main with Time Played 112 days 11 hours 51 minutes.
All this while holding a full-time job, a wife and 4 kids, and extended family obligations.
EQ2 is still fun

Rolled my Iksar Necro with the character creation disk pre launch. Played an Iksar Necro with a different name (I was paranoid the name could be taken) during beta and brought him to life on launch day. Same name as my Iksar Necro from EQ 1. He has and always will be my main.

Once he level caps I play around with alts becuase I enjoy seeing how different classes interact with the game. I have to other raid level characters but my Necro is always my main choice to play.

Rolled up my Erudite Defiler on launch day, leveled him to 50 and raided T5 with ToTSM pre-LU13. So I played a shaman during the dark days of useless wards.

Then LU13 actually fixed my class and made me love it even more. Raided with him through T6 & T7, recently retired from HC raiding due to schedule conflicts. He is now 80 and I'm a mercenary healer for whoever asks/needs me ... hehehe. Actually enjoying not feeling obligated to log-in and raid every night.

I have a few alts (30 coercer, 25 dirge, 10 warlock) all created to kill time while locked in EoF pre-persistant zones.
