We recovered from our MT dying to massive double attacks about, oh I dunno, 10x or more in VP last week. All without a wipe.

Shit with persistant instances the low play time arguement has been kicked well and truely out of the window as most zones are available between 5-9 days from where you last finished.

Were you set up with 2 MT groups, knowing that your MT would likely die? I agree if you prepare for your MT going down, then recovering is not that tough. If you are not prepared, however, then the MT dieing is usually a wipe.

Our raid setup is the same as it was in EoF. We don't use two MT groups, we use a MT group, a OT group, a mage group and a melee group like we always have.

If they let you enter for a tournament, it hasn't started yet.

If they let you enter, you get to play till you lose due to lack of skill or luck.

Contested spawns are available to everyone that pays the subscription fee regardless of their skill level.

Contested spawns are the most difficult encounters in the game both for the encounter itself, and the competition faced in killing it. All content from instances to contested is however available, and you are given the chance to progress as far as your skill will take you. If you suck you will not kill contested.

If you show up late to a concert you get to watch it from that point to the end. They will not start over for you. You missed out because you were late and crying will not solve anything. If you are slow clearing instances and gearing up, slower than another guild on your server, and you neglect to pull and learn contested content at the same time as them due to your lack of commitment, only you are at fault for giving them the time to learn the encounters unobstructed.

You can't blame the winner for your failure to compete.
