Thats a bullshit answer just like the rest of your miserable life. The fact is regardless of how this debate on contested goes. Soe will make as much contested content as they see viable. We can have all the raiders here saying we think contested content is viable. But if SOE believes that 1% of 1% is not worth thier time. They won't fucking waste it, regardless of what we say. So we are arguing amongst ourselves, as the vocal minority.

The topic itself serves no purpose other then to cause a debate. Which in and of itself shows a desire for some form of contested content. It was rhetorical to ask a question of a forum of predominently contested capable guilds "should contested epics even be bothered with?". What answer did the original poster expect?

Well, I know that, not because I have done them, but because people here having been whining and crying about it. Now, again, I haven't seen any casual player, or solo player, or anyone like that complaining and crying....it is HC raiders...like...you. And again, I'm not saying that is fair, right, worthy, whatever....but keep in mind, the whiners and cryers are people like yourself, not me.

I think you are confused. I'm not bitching about contested, I'm mostly wondering why it isn't instanced. I'm also wondering why people here would think things won't continue along the path they are going.

Now, I understand some people totally dig the raid scene, and happy happy joy joy to you. I can't speak for everyone, just myself, but it seems to me, unbelievably silly to race to level 80, in order to do a miniscule amount of content. I mean, be for real. I have read many a HC raider here do nothing but whine and moan about how the raidiing scene is too easy, too small, not enough (chooseyourownadventure).

As for my 'slow' leveling....it is conceivable I won't hit level 80 for another year, but unlikely. The expansion is a whopping 10 levels, and I'm 6 levels into it. Heck, I feel I am levelling at dang near warp speed, to be honest. Considering when the next expansion is coming out next, I see no reason to do anything other than just level by pretty much complete accident. What is the rush?
