I voted Dirge but i am biased

    1. Not a button masher
To play a Dirge affectively you cant just smash buttons. Dirges have rotations (CA's, Debuffs and Spell's) tha if we dont do our DPS will be lacking by 500 -1k .

    2. Versatility
OMG show me another class that can REZ, HEAL, DPS, and MAke or Break a raid if none show up

    3. Are needed in most raiding guilds
Yeah you cant really get away with out having one for a MT group

    4. Require your attention and intelligence to perform at 100%
Um REZ, HEAl, Gravitus, and DPS at the same time need i say more.

Coercer gets my vote - I'm quite biased in favor of the class. ;(

    Versatile:
Coercers fill several roles: buffer, crowd control, general utility/power management, and now and then we can even do some dps... sometimes... maybe a little...

    Needed:
Any raiding guild worth the few silver it took to form knows that coercers are an important part of their raid. They perform best in the MT and OT's group, IMO, where they can place their hate buff on the tank and their dps buffs on both the tank and the assassin/scout.

Additionally, coercers who get the Coercive Healing AA ability as well as the group +heal crit chance AA buff (and I do not know of any that haven't!) make the MT/OT healers' jobs just that much easier. All this is aside from obvious power management/regen stuff. Yay channelling!

    Requires a Brain:
Are there really any classes you can play with your eyes closed? During a raid, you'll be keeping an eye on your mana flow recast timer and tossing it to any healer or MT/OT running low on the blue juice.

Judging when to use certain spells/AA abilities often requires you to make a quick decision, especially in raids.
-"If I memwipe this mob so it gets off Player X, who would it end up on next?" "
-"The mob is out of control. Would casting Thought Snap and putting it on my group's tank help or hurt?"
-"Will my Chronosiphoning mess up our timers, or is it safe to use?"

Those are just a few of the more obvious scenarios I can think of off the top of my head, and that doesn't include the art of crowd control in a group setting (which is fabulously fun by itself =D ).

    Button Mashing:
I will admit that the coercer (and the illusionist) do a LOT of button mashing. Not only do all classes have quite a lot of spell chaining going on naturally, enchanters benefit greatly from continuous casting once they've fleshed out their Chronomancer's AA line (AGI, right? I can't remember without looking at it in game.) The more spells you cast, the faster you cast. The faster you cast, the more spells you get off... you can see the snowball effect there.

The real challenge is making sure, during those important fights, that you're constantly casting something to keep the Perpetuality up and running at max power. If you look away for a moment or skip a beat, you'll drop the ball.

The vast majority of your spells are light and fast. Casting as an enchanter is more like a well choreographed juggling act, where as casting as a sorcerer feels more like bowling in quicksand. (Somehow it reminded me of old-school bard song twisting in EQ1, before that silly /twist command thing. Ahh, those were the days.... err, sorry, anyways...)

Anywho... just my 2plat on the topic.

Wow, you dare to challenge the notion that interrupts are useless!
