After a bit more reading. Nothing realy new for me. Blizzard now effectevly kills MMO as genre turning it into MSO (Massive Singleplayer Online). After all kids and house moms lvled to top-lvl they left with nothing to do, "raiding is too time consuming whaaaaa!!!", such people should never start playing a game with high-end raiding content in a first place. (and imo should not be playing online at all, there are huge ammounts of sinlge-player games)
Yes they caught many "casuals" into this, Yes they showed the world that casuals can play MMO blah-blah-blah. But also they allmost killed the genre. Because for some stupid reason nobody wants to do anything creative anymore, they try to copy/paste from WoW and get same results, and what? they fail.
IMHO now it`s just a damn perfect time for 1 company to create 1 MMO that doesn`t follow WoW. (it can be eq1 with whole new graphics) And it will be successfull, because market is overloaded with casual crap, there will be a lot of people who will leave their current games for something more hard-core (WoW players too, especialy raiders if you give them enough content)

I agree with you. being an avid DAoC player for years, I gotta say, the PvP areas test your skill and playskills alot more than PvE ever could.
PvE came down to 10 hours grinding to get to max level, and 5 hours to gear your toon, and you never touched it again, because it was boring and scripted.

So what the fuck you forgot here? You got your game, go and play it if you love it so much. Don`t try to force your style on other games.
