I haven't had the chance to play with him yet but I look forward to it Got to do two tries on the new shark before raid time but was rushing and didn't get a chance to work a new kill strat.

Got raids again tonight and I also need to do that new quest line and snag that nice neck piece. But if I have time I'm looking forward to the new challange.

I fucking LOVE this! The other thread everyone was saying, we can clear every raid zone and every isntance in 3 3 hour a week sessions tops (even though high end guild web sites have mandatory 25 hour play requirements) and on this thread you argue the point that high end raiders require so much more time and effort, they deserve higher end rewards!

Which is it?

Does clearing high end raid instances and contesteds require more time and effort than the average player can input or dont they?

Guess the answer changes moment by moment...

Alesis. Do you even bother reading threads before applying your prejudiced idiocy to them?

Time was not listed by anyone who can hold a coherent sentence together.

Time is listed by you and your idiot cohorts.

Jesus christ its like its a god damn conspiracy to piss the people off who actually know what the hell is going on.

Here is the difference that you are failing to grasp: Time spent total <> Time spent a day. Nope, it's not the same thing and yes we do mean both. You need to put the time in to get where you want to be but that doesn't necessarily equate to massive amounts of time per day or per week.

On the subject of raiding being dead... I cannot imagine a playing game where there are no raids. There would be nothing to do! Now I could imagine a game where there is nothing but raiding and I would play that game...

for the risk vs reward thing. Why not make it like EQ1 again. You die...you lose exp and have a chance to lose your lvl. You have to go on a corpse run or have a necro get it for you. Now i'm not just talking about making instances like this...make the whole game like it! Raiding, grouping and soloing. So that way when you die, you lose more than just some gold on repairs. EQ1 FTMFW!

I don't know maybe its just me but i have to chuckle when i see PVE'r act all hardcore, and talk about how skilled they are, because they beat some scripted mob with predictable shitty AI ... thats is programmed to be beaten.

don't get me wrong raiding is fun but hardly skillful or anything to brag about.

EQ2 PvP is the most carebear PvP system ever created.

So I really hope you aren't trying to insinuate anything...

Nope but you did say "when i see PVE'r act" so the only logical inference to be made is that is from the point of view of a PvP'er.
