Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
T5 had some good writ combos in EF and LS that could be done simultaneously. If you knew which ones, you'd know 38 was not difficult at all. I imagine the 'record' is probably much larger than you think.

Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
I'm factoring in the fact that I will be having to wait for repops on some mobs as the writ mobs in JW are always sought after and that I will no doubt tire as the day goes on so reckon I can do 12 writs (3 sets of 4) on a good hour and 4 (1 set of 4 on a bad hour).
I reckon a target somewhere between 150 and 200 writs in the 24 hours is more than achievable.

Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
Ya back in T5 when guilds were racing to guild level 30, people would regularly complete a set of 4 writs in 30 minutes or less and repeat it all day.
I know because I did it! Used to be #1 in status for a long time during the patron system - I would do writs for 16 hrs in a day, never did any 24 hr marathons tho.
I'd say if you could do over 120 writs, that would be close to the most any insane person has ever done in a 24 hour period, but seriously, who keeps track of this shit.

With a boxed toon on AF, I could do sootfoots and wurms in LS and pioneers/wolves/sharks in EF in about 25 min total. 20 writs/hr, and I was far from being one of those hardcore writ-hounds.

Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
We got guild level 30 before those writs even existed... my run was Lamia, Fairies and something in Enchanted Lands, and some halflings in Rivervale, all grey to 50 and very exciting let me tell you.
I dunno if anyone who did that race to 30 is even still around anymore, I remember Eternal Chaos, Exile, Arirang, uhh one other that I forget.
I'd imagine whoever has the 'record' did the bonemire writs, which were the easiest writs imaginable for a long time. Tree things, spiders, basilisk and ravasects.

Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
Well, biggest thing back in those days was the travel time. It took longer to get the writs than to do them. Even with a cleric odyssey-bot, it was a 8 minute run through all the zones to grab 4 writs and travel to the correct zones. There was a time that you could grab multiple writs from the same faction, but I don't recall how many I did then. When they switched it to one writ per faction, I counted because I was calculating how many writs I needed to get the next faction title. Since I was the one of the top status people on eq2players at the time on my server, December 2005ish, I just assumed no one else was bored enough to do the amount of writs I did, and figured I'd share a personal record.
Since writs change every adventure level now past 70, it's hard to compare as well. Someone with writs that are all in Kylong are going to beat out someone with writs in Fens/Jungle.

Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
I dunno if the site is still up, but one of my guildies wrote a script when we were leveling to 30 which tracked eq2 players and updated hourly on how much status people were gaining.
I dunno if EQ2 players even updates that often anymore, but was fun a the time! Yes, we were insane and it wasn't worth it at all, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
edit: I was a cleric at the time btw, so I could ody myself

Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
Here is Illuminator's Holy Shit Writ Cycle (IHSWC) for Qeynos factions:
- Go to Kylong Plains docks, select the topmost writ option for each of the four factions.
- Druid port to Kunzar Jungle.
- Kill jungle quatchas, 1st writ done.
- Dash north, kill trakanasaurs, 2nd writ done.
- Train south, kill gorillas, 3rd writ done.
- Dash south, kill trakaraptors, 4th writ done.
- Druid port or sorceror port to Teren's Grasp.
- Evac (or mount back to docks if you're on a budget).
- Repeat.
Virtually no downtime whatsoever. Exalted title will be MINE.

Re: Writs - Max per 24 hour record
