Re: The best foursome?
tried group sex a few times, was cool but wow a lot of work. i prefer 3 ways myself, me and 2 chicks, not as much confusion. 2 dudes and one chick felt kinda gay to me, not that theres anything wrong with that, just not for me.
anything bigger than that, lose track of whos touching who and doin what and where, plus very messy.....

They also get a stun heal and a choice for an ability that is a free block for your tank. In this case, I would prefer a dirge to an illusionist.

Sounds pretty impressive and convincing. Arigato'gozaimasu Shinzui san.
So far the zerker, swash, dirge, inquis looks appealing. As does the Pali, warlock, illy, temp/defiler combo. (playing a warlock b4, the pally's were great at holding agro.)
Anyone else have some foursome's (EQ2 related, not net porn plz ) that they recommend?

In the first combo their I'd go with a Templar instead of Inquis. You will lose a small amount of dps but the survivability jump is huge.

Re: The best foursome?
paladin, brigand, dirge, cleric
paladin with amends on the brigand is rock solid aggro, and brigand debuffs are by far the best single class debuffs in the game for increasing group DPS. dirge has great synergy with the tank and the rogue. either cleric would work, templar is a better healer but inqi has the DPS buff.
this group would tear up orange ^^^ content with ease (assuming you can keep it to chain single pulls)

Yeah, that would have rock solid aggro, great survivability... and like, 2-3k DPS? In the age of solo mobs having near on 20k HP, do you really want to wait almost a minute per kill of that orange ^^^?
I'd say SK, Templar, Warlock, Dirge. Should bring the group DPS up to 8k on good fights, and although the Warlock might fall down some times, the SK really has a bunch of good options for keeping group aggro, and can pump out some hefty DPS. Should be able to burn through a large yellow ^^^ encounter with ease.

Hmm, so can the paladins put out as much dmg as a zerk? Or, is it to just keep aggro from the brig?
This seems like a good group. Reason i picked a swash over a brig was AOE vs. single target...kinda goes well w/ a zerk IMO. But i do like the stuns the brig has though

Re: The best foursome?
Zerk
Inquis
Dirge
swash
or
SK
fury
warlock
Troubador
First group is your melee powerhouse group. Zerk willl never lose agro thanks to dirge hate buff and swash hate transfer (can prolly do without the dirge hate buff though) and even the healer can put out some nice melee numbers.
Second group is obviously a caster group. SK should have no trouble keeping agro, if he does, get one who knows WTF he's doing. Using a fury as healer should be no problem, as the SK can pick up ALOT of healing slack, therefore, MORE DPS!
