Are we talking about the same hell here? I'm talking about the New Testament hell... God calmed down alot and so did hell. It's now an all-night/day club. The booze is free and the ladies are plentiful... oh, and all the seats are diamond-plated with silk cushions. They have different rooms now too. The sulphurous pools are now hot-spas, the torture rooms are now an exclusive brothel for the more ah... adventurous...

I think this has gone on for long enough... it's a nice place now. That is all.

I'd say SK, Templar, Warlock, Dirge. Should bring the group DPS up to 8k on good fights, and although the Warlock might fall down some times, the SK really has a bunch of good options for keeping group aggro, and can pump out some hefty DPS. you're drastically underestimating both the debuff effects from the brigand and the DPS they're putting out when they have amends to lock the mob onto the tank. i routinely parse 3.5-5k (just me, not the group) on yellow or orange mobs when i do instances or dungeons with a similar core group; on single ^^^ fights the mob is dead before my dispatch wears off, and i will always be topping the parse by a healthy margin. its basically all burst DPS at that point, and brigands are the best at burning down ^^^ mobs. when we bring along a well equipped wizard he can only hope to come close to me =)

my humble opinion is that paladin+brigand makes the best rock solid foundation for any dungeon group. you can build it how you want around that, but those 2 classes together drop a huge amount of assbeat when you unleash them on hard ^^^ encounters.
