there are heritage quests, you just haven't found them yet.

...there's also a "light sarnak" race that you can unlock through a secret quest line. keep looking, you'll find it.

Hard to believe that 1 or 2 weeks of fires cause 2+ months delay in Epics. Makes ya wonder if they even have more then 5 ppl that work on this game. Year to make this xpac, and this is what we got, thats just great.

3 months after expansion release promised content.
3 months after promised content release guild halls.
3 months after guild halls release "teaser zone for next expansion.
3 months after teaser release new expansion with missing content.

What makes something a heritage quest anyway? Or rather what makes them so great?

It seemed to me that it was mostly just a tag in the quest journal and a little status at the end. In EoF I never really found any worth doing. It seems they are just slightly longer quests with slightly better rewards. Seems to me that SOE should have just moved some of their bigger quests to be flagged as Heritage and people would never really tell a difference.

A Heritage quest means the end reward is an original item from EQ1 that would be familiar to anyone that played it. If you never played EQ1 you wouldn't have any idea though unless you actually read all the quest text.

RoK is not so bad . Must be tuning up a bit . But the instances are great . out door content is full of quests for peeps who doesnt want just dumb kill mobs for xp. The zones are huges ,shineys and pages repoping enough fast ,content is regularly fixed .

Thu, yes, even if epics can wait , better wait than something bad and boring, one or two HQs would have been good. Now many be, balancing HQ rewards with new content is hard to tune. Between the treasured , the new improved MC stuff, the actual legendary stuff and the high instances ones, if they drop something just meh with HQs, there will be thousand players calling shit again. So i guess they work on them quitely to make them good , while fixing and improving this huge extension.

ps: no,i m not a SoE hided DEV nor a fanboi :p
