I dunno about that man. I think that if I pay your guild for a full suit of set armor, and even get the achievement point dings when the mobs die, I've accomplished the exact same thing your guild has in game.

Think about it. You've spent hundreds of hours perfecting your ability to kill those mobs efficiently, and for a mere 250 p, we basically have the same armor. I could buy that 250 p for what I earn in an hour or two. I win EQ2!

Personally, I fail to see what would stop SOE from implementing RMT in EQ2.

I mean, once you remove the question of morality, seriously what's holding them back?

Well that is where our opinion differs. To me progressing is learning the encounters and working to beat them. Not being handed items for plat. Those items don't mean to those people what they mean to me. In fact I started on guk and NPU was selling a MO tunic and I was a fury at the time. I could have bought it but I don't believe in loot from something I didn't help kill. So I xferred to EC and got my own.

And I seriously have to fucking laugh at your last sentence. Thank you for acknowledging my opinion all mighty talonis and thank you for letting me know my opinion is hardly a representative of the majority of the community. That is some dumb shit right there lol. NO FUCKING SHIT my opinion isn't the whole communities. No one here speaks for all. To feel the need to reiterate that is fucking retarded. MAYBE that's why I said PERSONALLY I would welcome this change.
Before you get all foamy at the mouth, I'll restate. You think this is innocent and benign. It doesn't affect you much. Fine. That is true only because you have no need to buy gear with RMT plat. You are obviously for the change because you are in a win situation in that you can get paid right alongside SOE with changes like this to EQ2, if[when?] implemented. You play the game at a different level of skill and effort than the majority. If gear doesn't mean shit, have your raid force don a full set of MC shit for the rest of the game and save the shiny stuff for EFP/QH afks.

I figured the discussion was in reference to the majority.

You're for it.

Check.

They could also put the LON payment interface on these raid zone vendors, so you can pay using your cc if you didn't bring enough plat.
I hope they at least require that you kill some specific nameds or complete some quests before you can give the NPC vendor your CC # to buy the gear.

But I don't see the difference man. What's the big deal?

(why is this important to you with player vs. player transactions, but you don't care if SOE is selling plat and itemz directly to players via an RMT interface. You are being inconsistent Sir.)
