imo this isn't even an issue yet. so they licensed a RMT company, so what? they want to make a game based around RMT? why not? SOE does more than just eq2 ya know. until there is evidence that this will affect eq2 non station exchange servers, i could care less. of course, theres a chance it could affect eq2 servers, nobody's debating that, but until theres proof, or at the bare minimum evidence, i wouldn't bother worrying about it.
you want to go on a tirade about how much RMT in game sucks? hell yea, id be right there next to you, but don't go jumping to any conclusions just yet.

You need twisting lessons from ishbu. I never said gear didn't matter I said it doesn't equal progression. I am discussing for the majority. You know how they always fucking complain how they ran out of time for this and that and they don't have the staff to handle everything. Well maybe the extra income from this could help support making this game better. I am not saying it will but it is something that should be considered.

Raidleader: every 40s he has a nasty AE that will hit the raid for $10, and every 30s he'll drain the MT $5 every tick. He also he a nasty damage shield that has a 25% to proc $2 worth of damage.
