Holy fuck you are ignorant....

Milk gamers? wtf are you smoking? I'm still paying the same price per month now as I did in nov 2004.

This is not about new business ventures or exploring different forms of payment for an MMO. This is about a company going against every belief their customers held when purchasing eq2. I guess you could kinda look at it as a breach of contract for you nutts playing the " its only business " card.

Everquest 2 is a fantasy game. We pay our monthly subscription so we can play in our fantasy world. We want to be rid of real life crap for a few hours a day. These money transactions for loot end the fantasy or the rift from the real world. Soon uberness wont be something earned through playing the game, uberness will be gained from how much money you can blow. I don't even need to talk about this, the eq2 community wont have it ........... maybe the future of the eq2 community will but not the present one.

Shame on the fansites for supporting this as well. We know you can't wait to get your hands on advertising money for placing banners on your site from SOE's new gimmick. But you go ahead and take those future sony subscribers, I can't wait to watch you guys get locked up in the problems that will come from this.

To all of you who have canceled, i say congrats ......... hell even thank you. You are helping what we know and love in eq2 have a chance to survive by showing we don't like the way its going. Its our only to vote on game issues that they might take notice to what we are all saying.

We dont have to agree on every little detail about what we think is wrong with SOE's decisions, but i think alot of us agree this isn't the eq2 we thought we purchased. They don't seem to notice if we talk about it, so lets put the ball in their court and cancel to show its time to pay attention.

Did you pay for station access features? Participated on a SE server? Purchased LoN cards? Those would be examples of being 'milked'.

Making 20k a year in US dollars puts you well ahead of most of the world's population.

I quit a while ago when I read the joke of the "upgrades" they were going to give Wardens at the expansion. I had other reasons too, but I"m glad I did quit. From what I'm reading, there really is no reason for me to come back. Ever.

First, how is it wrong? Check the per-capita incomes in some countries outside the US or Western Europe, and you'll see just how far ahead we are.

Second, it is relevant to the argument that the introduction of virtual item purchase will simply reward those with lots of money. We are the ones with lots of money. Every single one of us with the means to participate in this conversation is better off than most people in the world.

b/c you have compltely trashed any thought of cost of goods, discretionary income, taxes, "endless list of crap you refuse to think about to make you point."

I never said i wanted RMT, but when you make comments like that it makes people associate a "dumbass" with the "opinion" kinda like people associate "abortion clinic bombers" with "christian" and "terrorists" as "muslims"
